About Us

Chapter History

Our chapter began with Kennedy Ovenseri and Kiera Wheeler on the campus of the University of Dayton in 2014. Since its inception on UD’s campus, MAPS has maintained its initial mission: to create and nurture diverse and inclusive future health care providers that are prepared for their future career aspirations. Our goal is to not only supply our members with the knowledge, skills and experiences vital to enter the fields of their choice, but also to foster a familial environment.

With this mission in mind, we cater our goals and events towards our members, by offering an array of unique opportunities such as volunteering, academic support, shadowing, socials and more.

As ever growing pre-health organization on UD’s campus, we hope that you will join and support us in the upcoming year.
